Dinner with Lidia's Father Alex March 2009

Kevin, Alex (Charlie's father in law) & Charlie.... We had a great time visiting with Lidia's father. He was finally able to visit Lidia in America after many years of trying. Hopefully her mother will be able to visit soon. He was such a nice man and we had a great time. He treated the Loftin side of the family to a nice dinner. I think he was eager to get to know Lidia's new family. He does not speak much English & we do not speak any Russian, but it was still a great evening & I think we communicated well... especially with Lidia's help. Mom really enjoyed the evening. My favorite part of the evening was "an evening without kids"!!! How relaxing was that! We love them, but we do not do that nearly enough.
